Op Art 2

This was a pretty cool project too, but I think doing just one op art project would be okay! It was cool how the waves looked and the different patterns of colors were very interesting. I just wish I picked different colors because the ones I picked Larry already used and didn't look very good! Please get better Crayola markers next time!!! Those ones work best and look better, until they run out. This project was very cool to do and I enjoyed it but not so much the coloring part because coloring is not my strong spot... Overall, it was a pretty good project and I think mine looked ok.

Watercolor Project

This project was really hard to do and I did Not do a very good job. ): I wish I took my time and could redo it but oh well! It was cool the way it looked, the paint, and it was very difficult trying to get the right colors and blend the colors. It was fun to make though, except when Chris spilled my water all over it so that kind of ruined it ... But overall it was a cool project!

Pop Art

The pop art project was a very good idea and I think our's was really cool! We could have finished it and made it better, like put the button on it and the earpiece, but we got distracted by other work... The apps looked Really good and it was a good idea for us to make them 3D and have them stick out. Overall, it was a fun project and I got to do it with my friends which made it more fun!

Op Art

This project seemed really difficult at the beginning but then once I tried it was easier! It was very easy actually to create, just make a bunch of concentric circles and make a design going into it. For mine I chose lightning to be coming out of it because I love lightning bolts a lot, they look really cool. So overall I liked it a lot and it was very interesting to look at and create.

Magazine Reflection

I really liked doing this magazine reflection project because it was so interesting and challenging at the same time and really challenged our art skills! My magazine page that I chose was very colorful and had a lot to it which made it hard, and I think I did a really good job at it and made it look very good. It was very fun to do and I chose this ad because I wanted to challenge myself and my art skills and it ended up looking very good, much better than I imagined. The whole idea of it is very artistic and awesome!

Skeleton Of Minnie

I liked this project a lot and I worked really hard to make my Minnie look like the real Minnie! I don't think her skeleton is very spot on but I think she looks great! The drawing of it was really cool but not so much the coloring because it was very hard to do. This was a fun project and I enjoyed doing it. (:

Cell Animation

This project was not very fun and also took a long time. I didn't want to do this to be honest haha because I thought it'd be a lot of work, but it wasn't as much as I thought. It took me a while to think of something, but I like what I came up with. It's pretty funny (: . I messed up a lot and got lots of paint everywhere so that is why it looks so bad... But overall I think it's okay but I didn't really enjoy doing it.

Text Collage

This project was really fun to do but it took FOREVER to finish! I think it looked better in my mind... but the overall look and meaning of it is pretty sweet. I think if I thought about it more and planned it out and took more time it could've looked better, but that's pretty much true for everything. I liked doing this project.

Letterform Abstraction

This looks really cool! The project was cool to design, but extremely hard to paint. On the first couple you can tell I tried really hard to make them look good but then I didn't so much on the other ones... Whoops! But I think it looks really sweet anyways. Getting the paint in the small spaces was really tough to do! Making the letters and numbers go together like that was really cool to do, I liked it!

Letters

I liked doing this! I thought it was really fun to do but really hard to paint the black on it, I kept messing up on it. I felt I did really good on this one! I tried hard on it. The contrast between the black and white was cool to play with and get the different looks of both of them. I think I should have done it differently to make it look better but it looks good. If i could do it again I would change the white and black on the Z that I did to make it pop more. Overall, fun project!

Careers in Art- Advertising

     I chose advertising because I would love to have a career like that! It'd be really cool to design the ads for magazines or television or anything else. These jobs pay around $40,000 a year in Michigan. The job requires you to design packages and create logos, trademarks and symbols, which sounds really fun! This job usually requires a 4-year art degree An art major at any typical university usually completes classes in drawing, visualization, art history, painting and other disciplines. If i got this job I would be working with production people, other graphic artists, layout workers, and a lot of other art people.
   I would like a job like this very much because I like designing things and making things look good. Even though a job like this would be really interesting and fun, the salary is not ideal for what I want in my area. In New York they pay a lot more so I might move there to have a job in graphic design for advertisement. Moving out of state is what I want to do so that would probably be what I end up doing. Doing creative things like this job is asking for is what I would like to do a lot!

Doodle Project

I really really really loved doing this project!! Mainly because I love to doodle all the time anyways. I worked hard on it and it ended up looking good. It took a lot of time and effort but since i liked doing it it didn't bother me. I wouldn't change anything about it. (:

Honestly I didn't like doing this at ALL. It was really hard and I started over a lot. Also my lines aren't straight. This doesn't look very good ): If I had to redo it I would try harder and take more time on it. I learned how to draw a building? And make it appear actually there and not just on paper.

This project was fun to make because it was my name and I love writing my name, also the coloring was really cool to do. The perspective part, to make it 3D, was hard to do but it was really fun. I think it looks really good but people don't understand what it says. I learned how to make things appear 3D!

Hallway Perspective Drawing

I really liked making this thing because I got to color it and make whatever I wanted on it. I don't think mine looked that good, I did but now I don't. The coloring was horrible. It was difficult to make a usable hallway out of this. It looks really colorful though (:

Color Wheel

I liked making this color wheel, but it was really hard trying to get the paint in all the right colors and where it's supposed to be. I think I did a really good job :D personally. The cutting out and making the whole shape of it worked, but painting it was really hard and the coloring I did didn't work out too well. I learned how to mix paints to get the right color I wanted.
